Can I bring friends/family/children the day of my tattoo appointment?

How Long Should I Leave The Saniderm Wrap On My New Tattoo?

4-7 days

What If My Saniderm Wrap Comes Off On It’s Own Before The Recommended Leave On Time?

That’s ok if it comes off on it’s own!  Everyone’s body is different, our daily activities are different and the way our bodies heal are different.  If the wrap comes off before the 4-7 day mark, switch on over to Aquaphor until fully healed, and then unscented lotion. OR if you are using the Tattoo Goo product line, use the aftercare salve until fully healed and then switch to the aftercare lotion.

Can I Get Tattooed While On Antibiotics?

Getting tattooed while taking antibiotics is not possible. Your body is already fighting off an infection, putting you at risk of contracting additional infections. Antibiotics also force out foreign antibodies—which is exactly what tattoo pigment is. The tattoo will not heal well with antibiotics in your system.  Antibiotic regiments and blood thinning medications need to be completed at least one week prior to you being tattooed.

Can I Get Tattooed While On Blood Thinners?

We will not tattoo anyone on blood thinners of any kind.  Any blood thinning medications need to be completed at least one week prior to you being tattooed.  Here is why!  CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE >>

Can I Get Tattooed While Pregnant?

No, we will not tattoo anyone that is pregnant.  This increases your risk of infection.  Pregnancy takes a toll on the body and can decrease the immune system’s full function.  Tattooing someone while pregnant is also against health department guidelines and is a liability for insurance companies.

Can I Get Tattooed While Breastfeeding?

Generally, people who are breastfeeding and three months postpartum are safe to get tattoos and piercings that are not on the breasts.  If you are over 3 months postpartum, then yes, we can tattoo you.  If not, then no we will not.

Do You Do Coverups?

Yes we do!

Do You Do Touchups On Existing Tattoos?

Yes we do!  If we did the tattoo, then there is only a small fee (unless if it is in your first 6-month free period).  If we did not do the tattoo, then the touchup is at the full price of the technician’s hourly rate.

Do You Do White Ink Tattoos?

Yes, we do white ink tattoos.  Although we use the highest quality tattoo ink, we cannot guarantee that you will be an ideal candidate for white ink.  Not everyone holds white as well as others, so trying a small part on your body first, or highlighting an existing tattoo to see if you are an ideal candidate is a good idea 🙂

Do You Do Blacklight UV Tattoos?

Yes, we do blacklight UV tattoos.  With blacklight, we cannot guarantee that you will be an ideal candidate for them.  Not everyone holds blacklight UV ink well, so trying a small part on your body first, or accenting an existing tattoo to see if you are an ideal candidate is a good idea 🙂

What Makes Blacklight UV Tattoos Glow?

Phosphorus is what makes blacklight UV ink tattoo glow.

Why A Tattoo Appointment Deposit?

Deposit/Retainer Policies:

A deposit (also known as a retainer) is required in many tattoo parlors to schedule and hold your appointment. The deposit is applied to the cost of the tattoo on the day that it is completed unless there is a less than 72 hour reschedule or a no-show.  In the event of a cancelation, the deposit is forfeited.

Once available appointment dates are sent, they will be held for 24 hours before offering to other clients looking to book.

The deposit can be paid here or in the shop. In the event of a less than 72 hour reschedule or no-show, the deposit is kept and non-refundable.

In the event that you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, the appointment is canceled and the deposit is kept and non-refundable.

What Is Your Reschedule Policy?

We understand that life happens!  If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment with us, please do so at least 72 hours in advance.  That way we can still attempt to book another client in your time slot.

In the event that you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, the appointment is cancelled and the deposit is kept and non-refundable.
